Solar Savings by Rudxani Engineering (Pty) Ltd
Solar Savings by Rudxani Engineering (Pty) Ltd (“Solar Savings,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), we value our customers and aim to provide quality products, installations, and services. This Refund and Returns Policy explains the conditions under which refunds, exchanges, or returns may be granted in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa.
Eligibility for Refunds or Returns
Refunds or returns may be considered under the following circumstances:

Defective Products or Workmanship: If the product or installation is found to be defective or faulty within the applicable warranty period.

Incorrect Product Delivered: If you receive an item different from what was ordered or quoted.

Cooling-Off Period (for Direct Marketing): If you entered into a contract as a result of direct marketing, you are entitled to cancel the agreement within five (5) business days of receiving the goods or signing the contract, as per Section 16 of the CPA.

Cancellations Before Installation: Refunds for cancellations prior to installation will depend on the stage of work and any non-recoverable costs already incurred.
Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds or returns will not be granted in the following cases:

When products or materials have been installed, altered, or damaged by the customer.

When products are custom-made or ordered specifically for a project.

When damage or malfunction occurs due to misuse, negligence, or failure to follow operational guidelines.

When the request for refund or return is made outside the allowable time frame stated in this policy.
Procedure for Refunds and Returns
To initiate a refund or return, customers must:

Notify Solar Savings in writing via email at info@solarsavings.co.za within 7 business days of delivery or discovery of the issue.

Provide proof of purchase, invoice number, and photographs (where applicable).

Allow our team to inspect or assess the product, installation, or service to verify the claim.
Once a claim is reviewed:

If approved, refunds will be processed within 10 to 15 business days.

Refunds will be issued using the original method of payment, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Installation and Service Refunds
For installation and engineering services, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis, depending on the scope of work completed and materials used. In some cases, partial refunds or credits may be offered instead of full reimbursement.
Warranty Claims
All equipment and materials supplied by Solar Savings are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, where applicable. Warranty terms will be communicated in writing before installation.
Solar Savings will facilitate warranty claims but is not responsible for manufacturer processing times or decisions.
Liability
Solar Savings shall not be held liable for any indirect or consequential losses resulting from a product or service failure, delay in refund processing, or warranty claim outcome.
Governing Law
This Refund and Returns Policy shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of South African courts.
